Samantha Judd is a mother of two who plunged headlong into a new career of product design & manufacture, with no previous experience in the field. Proving that with hard work, perseverance and a bit of self belief anything is possible.
With a background in sales administration and working as a personal assistant, Ms Judd’s new career was not planned, but rather one that she decided to pursue after having the idea of how to do something better. Seizing upon the opportunity to allow her creative side to take centre stage, the next 5 years saw her schooled on the run in every aspect of designing & manufacturing a new product.
Not only has Ms Judd received a scholarship from a Perth University for their entrepreneurial program, of which she successfully graduated, but she has also secured capital investment, secured stockists for her product as well as building her own loyal client base and has also been featured in both TV & print media in her hometown of Perth, Western Australia. She is currently working on the design of her next range of products. She lives with her two children, their dog Buster and rescue cat Loki. She can be contacted at Sam (at) fliplid (dot) com.au.
