Claus holds an MBA from the University at Albany and has worked as an IT and Management Consultant for Capgemini for over 5 years, advising global corporations in the US and Europe and overseeing the implementation of a wide range of IT applications.

He is now applying his extensive experience to liberate entrepreneurs and small business owners from boring and tedious graphic design and website maintenance tasks so that they can focus solely on building their business. His company, CMS Assist, helps business owners with their website by performing time consuming tasks such as adding new pages and making sure the site is secure and up-to-date, while Design Dorado takes care of any graphic design projects that a small business may have, such as creating sales leaflets or a professional Facebook cover. Both companies offer their services for a flat monthly fee, making them an affordable option for small businesses. Claus has a deep level of experience in business incubation, having co-founded several companies ranging from a food and drink ordering app to a software developer assessment service. Over the last few years he has helped a wide range of businesses and startups as a consultant, mentor or partner. He possesses  strong expertise across a range of areas including web design, graphic design, outsourcing, SEO, AdWords PPC, social media marketing, startup validation, and business development.

He is a frequent guest speaker and mentor at Lean Startup Machine. He lives with his wife and daughter in Wimbledon.
