British mother Joanne Oswell-Jones is transforming the lives of thousands of women around the world, just eight years after a painful divorce left her almost penniless and facing a crippling £1 million debt.
Joanne, from Copthorne, West Sussex, is the author of the self-help sensation, The Soulful Woman, and director of a consultancy by the same name that provides guidance and inspiration to thousands of women all over the world.
The Soulful Woman was this month voted My Well-Being Magazine’s Book of The Month.
Joanne said: “We all face times in our lives when it feels as though we’re losing the very foundation upon which our lives have been built upon. It’s a very scary time in which you can feel totally alone. I chose to develop some core nourishing practices involving personal development and self-love to help me get through what I can only describe as my “personal hell”. It’s been such an uplifting experience in sharing these practices with other women who are facing huge challenges too.”
She added: “When I was handling all the debt, creditors screaming for money, a repossession order in place for my home and business, I’d wake up every day feeling sick to my stomach.
“I’d lost all my confidence and there seemed to be two options available: drinking my problems away or digging as deep as I could to look after myself and my daughters in the best possible way. I kept thinking to myself “the task ahead is never as great as the power within” So I chose the second option and with each tiny step forward I felt liberated, rejuvenated and empowered.”
Joanne’s lifestyle book, The Soulful Woman, is aimed at helping women all over the world find the clarity, poise, sensuality and wellness to thrive and create the life they desire.
The Soulful Woman was voted My Well-Being Magazine’s Book of The Month.
In the book, Joanne says: “I wrote and created The Soulful Woman to inspire and share my knowledge and information with anyone who’s feeling like there’s something missing in their lives but perhaps not sure what.
“True vitality in mind, body, and spirit is our birth right! The Soulful Woman Essential Steps make profound and positive change a real possibility for anyone who wants to feel fabulous and well deep within their being.”
The book is a selection of practical steps, services, and products that were instrumental in helping Joanne overcome the challenges of finding herself a single mum with two daughters to care for.
