Analysis of celebrity Instagram accounts highlights the downtime habits of business people
New research has revealed the downtime habits of successful business people, according to their Instagram feeds.
The analysis, which was conducted by branding experts Discount Displays, looked at how a number of successful people in business spent their downtime via their Instagram updates.
The results showed the most common habits of successful business people to be:
- Water activities such as swimming and boat trips
- Spending time with friends and family
- Sport and exercise
- Socialising with colleagues
The analysis included successful business people of Instagram, Virgin founder Richard Branson (2.9 million followers), The Apprentice star Lord Sugar (56,000 followers), Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos (580,000 followers) and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg (4.7 million followers).
Speaking of the results, Discount Displays head of branding Aaron Inglethorpe said:

This analysis of business Instagram accounts provided unique access into the extra-curricular activities of successful people, allowing us an insight into how they choose to spend their relaxation time.”
