We all need a little help from time-to-time and I know that only too well. In the year 2000 I collapsed with chronic stress and subsequently experienced anxiety and, it’s more evil cousin, panic attacks. Having a very unsympathetic boss and poor support from the medical profession at that time, I went on my own search for the answers to resolving my health issues and this is what started my obsession to learn as much as I could about human psychology and the workings of the mind.
I actually started my psychotherapy and hypnotherapy business from scratch in 2004 and have gone on from this to creating Nick Davies Sports Psychology working from grassroots up to GB and International level several times (www.ndsp.co.uk) and created my training academy the Warwickshire School of Hypnotherapy (www.wsoh.co.uk) where I train people to be therapists, hopefully expanding into Europe this year.
I spoke at the UK Hypnosis Conference in Heathrow last year and I’ll be speaking at the Integrative Health Conference in London this year. I’ve also been interviewed on BBC CWR Radio several times talking about Hypnotherapy and Sports Psychology and written for the following publications; Glamour, Small Business, Thread, Feel Good You and Cosmopolitan.
I am also known as “The PTSD Whisperer” because of my specialism in treating post traumatic stress disorder (and other traumas), permanently in the most rapid and effective manner. Also many other therapists send their most difficult cases to me and as one said recently to their client “If Nick can’t fix it, it can’t be fixed!”.
